We believe there is strength in diversity. When we break the barriers of socially constructed lines of identity, the exchange of ideas in science progresses exponentially. Inclusion regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, national origin, neurodiversity, or any other life experiences, is not only necessary in STEM but also should be embraced. Furthermore, the environment that people join must be inclusive where they are heard, welcomed, and respected. We are committed to continually educating ourselves to further our understanding and improve our environment. In our group, diversity will be celebrated, inclusivity will be practiced, and all will be welcomed.
