Born in Pakistan, Mudassir always was interested in research from childhood, from trying to make soap from rubber and glue to make a mess in the classroom with different materials. Mudassir Passion took him to Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where he got his B.S. Degree in Chemistry and Biology in May of 2020.
He also did undergraduate research, two years in Organic Chemistry Lab, and one year in Developmental Biology Lab. Through that, he developed his interest in organic chemistry, and started his Ph.D. study at Texas Tech University in Fall of 2020. He got very interested in Polymer Chemistry and joined Sam's Lab in Fall 2021 and will be working on sustainable polymers.
In his free time, Mudassir enjoys outdoor activities, watching Anime, playing games, and loves cooking.
