Kushal was born in Pokhara, Nepal but has been living in Lubbock, Texas since 2013. He is a sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry, B.S. in Nutrition, and a minor in Health Professions and hopes to attend graduate school in Chemistry. His love of chemistry came from wanting to learn more about how and why everything around us functions. Therefore, environmental impacts on the future through concepts discussed in Dr. Kristufek's Organic Chemistry 1 class sparked his curiosity in learning more about and contributing to the field of sustainable polymers.
In his free time, Kushal enjoys playing Tennis at the Texas Tech Club Tennis, going to the gym, taking photos, and hanging out with friends and family.
