Josh grew up in Lancaster, PA, and moved to Fort Worth, TX in 2014. Currently pursuing a BS in chemistry at Texas Tech University, he initially set his sights on a career in medicine but found a passion for chemistry ignited by Dr. Kristufek's organic chemistry course. This led him to switch majors from biology to chemistry, with a keen interest in organic chemistry. Looking ahead, Josh plans to pursue graduate studies in organic chemistry outside of Texas, following his undergraduate degree. Presently, Josh work as a tutor for organic chemistry 1 and 2 at the Texas Tech University Learning Center, helping other students better understand the intricacies of the subject. He is passionate about the protection of our planet and is excited to be part of a research group that focuses on sustainable materials.
Beyond academics, Josh enjoys playing soccer as a member of the Texas Tech Men's Club Soccer Team, cooking, watching football and basketball, and spending time with his friends.
