Destiny Allen is a Houston, Texas native and is a senior at Texas Tech University majoring in Chemistry with minors in Biology and Health Professions. After completing her B.S. she plans on continuing her research during her gap year and then attending medical school shortly after. Destiny joined the Kristufek group to combine her love for both the environment and chemistry. Through research, she hopes to have a positive impact on the environment around her.
Here at TTU, she is involved in the Black Student Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. In her free time, she also enjoys developing her skills in opera and American Sign Language.
