Caleb was born in Bay City, MI but spent most of his life in Elmhurst IL. He found his love for chemistry in his senior year AP chemistry class because of his teacher, Mark Golebiowski. With a newfound love for chemistry, Caleb traveled across the country to obtain his degree in chemical engineering at Texas Tech university. Because of his determination and love for chemistry, his AP chemistry credit covered his gen chem credits putting him in organic chemistry for his first semester. He met Dr. Kristufek, and found a love for polymer chemistry under her instruction. Now a part of the Kristufek lab team, he hopes to change the world in one way or another using his research in polymer science.
