Amy was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is a 2nd-year undergraduate student at Texas Tech University. Additionally, she is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry and Forensic Sciences on the pre-medicine track. After completing her degree, she hopes to attend medical school right after or take a gap year to complete a Master of Science in Molecular Pathology at Texas Tech School of Health Professions. Ever since her first chemistry lab, Amy has developed a love for working in the lab. Therefore, she is greatly excited to be able to participate in Dr. Kristufek's lab.
In Amy's free time, she enjoys drawing and painting, reading, watching crime shows, and hanging out with friends.
