Abigail was born and raised in Seymour, Texas. She is currently a third-year student at Texas Tech majoring in biochemistry with a minor in biology. She originally planned to pursue a career in forensic science, but fell in love with learning about biology and chemistry. Abigail plans to apply for graduate school and pursue a PhD in biochemistry or biotechnology. She is passionate about developing solutions for problems in medicine and environmental science, and she is excited about the projects in Dr. Kristufek's lab.
In her spare time, Abigail enjoys reading books, cooking, video games, and spending time with friends and family.
